I am on day 3 of this , as I sit here a little light headed and finishing off my pomegranate tea. So far, I find this diet pretty exciting. I've never done a specific diet before, but after eating pizza and bagels for two months - I needed to jumpstart my  body back to health.

Stage one is all about the feast to me. On day one i was excited to order a chicken burrito with chips for dinner. Felt violently thirsty afterwards though  Shocked

Yesterday was day 2 - I had an orange, a banana, an apple, and half cup of dry roasted nuts (cashews and almonds) until it was time for feasting. Drank water throughout the  day and a black coffee in the am. Feast! Sirloin steak and spinach with disgusting powdery mash potatoes, it was take - out, it's nyc.
The one thing I feel bad about is the bottle of wine I washed it down with.
Will try to get over this regret tonight.

So far I am thinking that bagging up a half cup of nuts is just about what does the job for the day for me, plus 3 pieces of fruits.

Tonight I will eat the other half of that steak with some broccoli and carrots - well that's my plan anyways. And stay away from the wine  Tongue

Hi TeeCee, sounds like you're off to a flying start. The lightheadedness will pass quickly - if it doesn't, maybe add a little more protein/fat to your daily grazing.

Steak, broccoli and carrots? YUM! Sounds fabulous. And you're on stage 1, that means you can drink the wine as part of your evening feast. Perhaps not an entire bottle, though?  Shocked

Let us know how you find stage 1, and good luck!

the lightheadedness should start to slow down after a while. Falcon really has some wonderful advice  Grin

I agree that if the light headedness gets to be too much just add a bit more protein/fat into your diet and maybe graze a little more during the day. one thing I noticed when I was first starting out was that grazing on vegetables during the day really helped me with keeping me from feeling too empty. best of luck to you!
