I consider myself to be in pretty good shape.  I am 42, 5'10" and 160lbs.  I run, play tennis, work out, and just did my first Tough Mudder.  I am considering this diet for all of the benefits EXCEPT the weight loss.  So how would I modify the program?  Or should I just try something else?  Thanks in advance!

hi and welcome

Check this out.

This way of life isn't just for weight loss it is to make you be the best you can be (given our modern social restrictions - mainly time and money)

I'm not here to lose weight either....... i'm pretty much the same weight as when i started 2 years ago..... I jumped straight in at stage 3....... just eat as much paleo correct food as you want..... my typical day

Breakfast...... bacon/poached egg/spinach
Lunch...... tuna mayonnaise salad
Dinner...... roast lamb with carotts and brocolli with homemade gravy

snacks...... sunflower seeds/hazelnuts/fruit/boiled egg/cooked chicken breast
drinks....... diluted fruit juice/redbush tea

Enjoy Smiley

Hi Lilniki,

Can you please tell me how you make your gravy? have been looking for some way to thicken sauces in Stews etc that is paleo friendly.

Many thanks

I just make a stock with whatever left over bones ( chicken or beef or lamb)....with some onion/carott/herbs thrown in......... i keep it in the fridge till i need it, then thicken with arrowroot.

Thanks for the info everyone.  And thank you Mark for the link to MDA.  Lots of good info there.  I skipped the toast with breakfast this morning.  Just 2 eggs and a banana and logged them in CRON-O-Meter.  I'm on my way. Smiley

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
