Done 3 weeks in phase one, felt great with more energy, moved to second phase 2days ago, I feel so bloated it's unreal, why is this? Is my body holding onto all the water because I am not eating?

I don't remember feeling bloated in stage 2. Do you think you might be over doing your one feast meal???

Depends what you were having for your feast in stage 1...... if it was carbs, then it'll take a while for the bloating to go down Sad

When I was doing stage 2 a typical feast would be something like 1/2 a steak -or- a fish(not a chicken eater), some sauteed mushrooms -or- onions, a veggie side dish -or- sauerkraut -or- salad, and maybe 1/4 cup of fruit. I didn't eat many nuts in stage 2.

Bacon wrapped shrimp make a good feast meal main disk too  Cheesy

I think it's easy to go overboard on nuts. Early man didn't eat them 12 months a year.

now that I am use to eating this way I am fine, the minute I eat grains I get bloated and gassy and its a terrible feeling.  maybe don't eat any grains for your feast.. worth a try.

I’m impressed, I must say. Really seldom do I see a forum that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Your thoughts is important; the issue is something that not a lot of people are talking intelligently about. I’m really happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
