Hi All,

Glad to of found this site. Been trying this lifestyle on and off for a few years but never seem to be able to really commit to it 100% - why? Because I get sick of people telling me its wrong and all the scare tatics they use eg i'll only slow my metabolism and get fatter etc. I find it really difficult to stay strong during the day when people are eating in front of me too but my theory is you just have to sit tight and eventually you won't want to eat during the day.

So here I am - I've found a site with like minded people, my little sanctaury away from the negativity. I am going to do each stage and keep a type of blog thing here on how I am doing etc, don't fret I won't bore you with my ramblings every day Smiley. I weight about 75kgs and i would like to lose my pregnancy weight plus the extra i was carrying, so about 59kgs. I am starting tomorrow on stage One.

I am not sure if it is allowed but am i able to drink things like coke zero and sugar free red bull during the day, maybe 1 or 2 a day?? And can i have coffee?

I know what you mean all I ever hear is how I SHOULD be drinking milk and how I am going to have osteoarthritis because my bones are going to be so brittle. I don't bother saying anything anymore.  I know when I read Marks daily apple he says only drink water and he says even diet pop and juice are no good. You should sign up for his newsletters they are very interesting.
Good Luck. Smiley

For stage one you can eat and drink whatever you want...... but further down the line when you're consuming "true caveman" then drink water or small amounts of pure fruit juice only ....... If in doubt about a certain food or drink then use this to help you....."if man made it don't eat it"

Thanks heaps nicki - i've been enjoying a red bull each day without feeling guilty. So this is my 3rd day doing this, and wow what a change already. Scales have gone from 75.5kg to 73kg thats not even a week gone by yet. I am eating whatever I want without guilt and for once in my life i feel really clear minded as I'm not obsessing over calories and what I ahve eaten for the day. I am really drawn towards sushi atm and noodle stir fries, for some reason the really junky junk stuff is a big turn off. Maybe thats due to the fact I can eat it if i really want to. I am drinking heaps of water and don't get uber hungry my body seems to feel really happy when the day is done and I've eaten. I can see how this way of life ends up leading you to more healthier eating ways in the long run. But yeah feeling good and strong in my decision to live my life like this - and I am not letting anyone in on this as i can't be bothered with crap atm. Thanks for stopping by guys and for your words of encouragement.

Hi K,

Firstly I'm sorry for stealing the idea for my profile name from you......I read your post, liked the name and shamelessly copied it!

I'm in exactly the same position as you were on your first post.......having tried to stick to this type of diet on-and-off for ages.  Also tried the low-carb diet but was concerned about lack of fresh fruit etc.

Please let us all know how it's going for you.......any thoughts/suggestions would begreatfully received.

Cheers

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
