No, I haven't seen it. I've recorded a couple of episodes of Human Planet, though, looking at indigenous peoples and how they survive in a natural lifestyle. Well, I haven't watched them yet, but I think that's what they're about.

I'll check out your recommendation.

How's your Stage 1 going?

hi Iain, yes i'm on stage 3 now. To be honest i skipped stage 2 as i know myself well enough to know i wouldn't have lasted it and would have been disheartened by my failure. But i do fast intermittently instead which i find clears my mind and body and is much easier.
I'm not strict paleo in that i drink alcohol every weekend, but that is my only vice and i've lost 15 lbs so far!

Hi,

Hope you had a good weekend. 15lb is really good!!! I think I maybe in the same boat as you, I'm going to try and persist with stage 2 but I doubt I'll get through the whole day without at least a piece of fruit. At work we are doing a fat fighters, and weighing in every Monday since January. I was 85.7kg (13.5 stone) I just weighed in this morning, I'm now 79.5kg (12.5). I started this way at the start of February and looking at the chart we have made at work, I'm noticing the losses from the start of Feb  Grin

Hello Doctor,

I watch Coast too. Yes it is interesting, in the second episode, it touched on the affects of farming coming to Britain and the decline in health and explosion of the population, having a ready supply of food without having to go find it, that was the reason I posted it really. Great series though.  Grin

Absolutely, and when they started un-earthing them stone walls beneath the peat bogs in Ireland. what got me though is that they suspected that the different nomadic groups hopped from island to island seeking out the different foods as well as the foot prints they found preserved just off the coast of Wales .... love any progs like this tbh.

If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
