if you feel satisfied after eating your meal you should be fine, however in stage 1 and in stage 2 you should be grazing throughout the day. I would have to say that 800 being your overall for the day is a bit low, try adding some nuts and seeds into your diet by grazing or even a hardboiled egg or another form of protein as a snack item.

Chicken's mostly protein with very little fat - maybe trying chicken with the skin still on, or another form of meat - lamb is quite fatty so will up your calorie intake nicely.

I tend to eat between 900 and 1200 calories per day and have done for the last 6 months - no problems for me! It's more your fat and protein intake than the actual calories - but at around 800 you should be seeing some good weight loss (if that's what you're after).

Eat nothing... absolutely nothing. You will find this surpisingly easy after going through Stage One. Your body will be detoxing all day, which is great, so drink lots of water to help the process along

@Falcon , i am sure i will see weight loss - but my concern is that with this low amount of calories it will be too fast and i will also lose muscle

If you're full and feeling good, then it's probably not much to worry about. Do you eat other meats? If you feel yourself feeling weak or tired you could add a handful of walnuts or something else during the day for an extra boost (it's helped me). The diet is guidelines to help us, but we can tailor it to fit our bodies.

Or maybe some healthy calories to add to the feast:
1 medium avocado is 276 calories
1 cup of unsweetened applesauce is 105 calories
4 Brussel Sprouts is 25 calories
1 cup of Kale is 50 calories

For myself I don't worry about calories, but there's a lot more you can find with very little research to mix it up a bit so you don't have the same things every night.
Good luck  Smiley

don't worry about counting calories thats one of the "great" benefits of eating this way I hated counting calories, just follow this way of life in a way that suits you. I tried not eating all day and one meal I felt really weak so I switched to eating the "right" foods and feel great I eat a big meal mid morning and graze the rest of the time, I feel so much better and am losing weight without fasting. just do what works for you. Good Luck. Smiley

I guess its more of a personal opinion, I don't see the point in starving yourself. But then again I am also an anti-anorexia advocate so I tend to get a little creeped out when people eat close to nothing all day. If it works then it works but be careful that you don't develop an eating disorder. I struggled with one for a long time and was hospitalized for it so just keep an eye out and stay healthy!!  Smiley
