I have now been IF for 51 days on stage 2 and I am feeling great.it is a hard concept to get hold of initially but once you get into a routine it's superb. i find a great way to motivate yourself through it is to read articles from the following people marks daily apple, brad pilon eat stop eat,and leangains.don't get mixed up by reading there different eating plans as you are on the caveman diet however there are excellent articles on the health benefits of intermittent fasting.I changed my way of thinking and realised that just losing weight was not the major factor and that my health was much more important.I think it's also important to look up the health benefits of the new foods you are now eating  and how beneficial they are to your health. I think that helped me on my meal decisions.further to this whilst on stage 2 I have not lost any muscle but have lost 22 pound in weight which seems to have slowed recently but my body shape has changed . I was 7 pound lighter than I am now but the same jeans fit me so I think the high protein diet has put muscle on me over the last few weeks and if you read the articles on IF you will see that whilst in the fasting state growth hormones increase.hope this helps to spur you on whilst on stage 2.all the best G

Thanks for the advice Gregster!  I'll check some of those articles out.  I'm still on stage 1 at week 3 and don't know if I really want to do stage 2.  I think it's mostly my job, but I have a hard time not thinking about eating.  I work on radar systems, doing spectrum monitoring, so 95% of my day is down time.  I just wait for my 10 hour workday to pass by, so I can go home.  I work the first 30 minutes of my day and then just a minute or so here and there throughout the day.  As I try to pass the time, I can't help but think about eating also.  I think I'm going to end up sticking to a modified stage 1 and incorporate the changes from 2 and 3 as to the main meal and grazing a bit...
