hi To Everyone.  Smiley

im just about to start this diet, ive researched everything about this but what im wondering is that when you read all the forums it seams that not everyone follows the diet in the way that i have read it?
I take it that after stage 2 your body should be fully clensed and your body fat levesl should be way down and then you should eat lots of protien whenever you feel hungry and follow a normal diet? or am i reading in to it to much?Huh?

thanx george.

Try not to over analyse things too much....... i didn't actually follow the stages at all because i thought how rigid should i really be with it??

Anyway to start i would chuck out ANYTHING processed you may have at home and start from there. (If man made it don't eat it). Then either have one big meal in the evening as described, or do as i do and graze all day little and often.......which ever works for you.

You may well get headaches one day 2 or 3, this is normal as your body is flushing out all the rubbish. By the end of week one you will feel great and likely lost some weight.

Let us know how you get on and whether you need any recipe ideas.

if your headaches got really intense  then maybe your body was telling you that it needed more nutrients. sometimes the first stage isnt necessary, so long as you can eat a healthy/balanced diet and get some exercise in to boot you should be fine. just have to make sure you arent eating too much, the feeling of "stuffed" or "completely full" is the wrong way to eat, instead eat until you are 80% full and stop. that seems to work well Smiley

best of luck to you!!

Hey George,

Sorry for the delay with replying... just got back from my holiday Smiley

First thing we should try top get to the bottom of is why your head ache was so bad....... normally they're not THAT crippling!!...... can you write down a typical days food before you started this diet, then describe what you were eating the day you felt ill........ perhaps if there was a REALLY big change eg from terrible junk to a plate of lettuce leaves, then we can maybe say your body was struggling to adjust!!

Secondly head aches are completely normal when your body is ridding itself of toxins...... you just have to wait it out, and it doesn't usually last long (2 days for me if i remember rightly). PLenty of water and fresh air will definitely help, and paracetamol wont kill you as a last resort!!

Let me know what you've been eating
