12 days in and 8Lbs lighter, feeling more energetic all the time. For years I have been play soccer twice a week, with yoga class on Wednesday, but was always 10 - 15 lbs overweight. Turns out, so it appears, to all have been in my eating habits. Too much white on my plate! Bread, pasta, dairy all gone and don't miss them one bit.

Playing indoor soccer tonight so may have a pint after as a treat..Still got to have the willpower to get through the caffeine withdrawal headache that I experienced in my first week, resorting in 1 cup black each morning. Will try again starting Monday- is it true that if you get through 2 weeks the coffee curse is forever gone?

People at work thing i am nuts by doing this- I may just shock them by showing up in a loincloth- what do you think?

Thanks for  a great site everyone!

SOCCER!!!!  Angry
Football  Grin

Doing well Snaker, I still have a few pints and I'm still loosing weight, think it's OK as long as it's not ten pints. I can't really answer the coffee question, I've never been a coffee addict, but I still drink normal tea with milk in the morning after my water, and doesn't appear to do much harm.

I have the same with my work colleagues but they're seeing the results, and coming around to my way of thinking now.

So strange, played football like a devil tonight and then went out for a beer and fried food...but had one Guiness and came home- it just didn't look good.. Boy, this is the new me. Never thought that coffee would be harder to give up than beer though. Nicki- you will be my inspiration!

Sorry about the soccer statement- thats what 15 years living in Upstate New York does to you!

"As fit as a modern day athlete"
If you suspect that statement to be true, then you'll probably want to know why it could be true. Well, this is what I have devoted my life to finding out, and I want to share with you everything i've learnt, as well as learn from you!
Shut me up?
