Hi everyone,
So I am newly back on track with my Caveman eating, and loving it every bit as much as last time (Why oh why did I ever let it slip??)
T|oday, however I got a rather scary big red envelope through my letter box...telling me I am one of the lucky few who have managed to get a ballot plae for The London Marathon 2012! Amazing! However, I, at the moment do not run due to having severely hypermobile joints...great fro party tricks, not so great when you want to pound the pavements!

I was told a few months back to give up trying to run, I was never going to get back to the level I was at, (Competing fairly well at up to half marathon levels), so I did, I gave up!

Now I want to go back..and have heard barefoot running is good for hypermobility...the fact is I can run in 'stupid slip on ballet pumps' that offer no support what so ever ad allow my feet to move freely. I can also run bare foot...although the fear of standing on something tends to make this too worrysome...
So...questions...anyone here a-hypermobile and a runner, that can offer advice? b-generally offer advice on getting back into running, I havea little over 6 months to the marathon. c-running it too?? d- know anything about barefoot running?
Thanks tribe xx
