The Caveman Power 1 Minute Workout

This workout will increase your abilities in one particular exercise, and will develop your power, speed and cardiovascular/respiratory endurance.

This workout differs from the "3 minute workout" because the emphasis is placed more on power and intensity, rather than stamina. It's very open and unrestricted, so pick an exercise and go ballistic!

  • Duration: 1 minute
  • Intensity: very high
  • Equipment: any, none, or just use your imagination!

Time yourself for 1 minute
Do as much as you can!
Record your results

The Workout

Simply pick one exercise, and do as many as you can in 1 minute.

Example exercises:

  • Chinups or Pullups.
  • Pushups.
  • Presses - pushing a weight above your head or chest.
  • Situps (not crunches).
  • Squats or Leg Raises.
  • Burpees.
  • Use your imagination - do whatever works for you!

One exercise for 1 minutes, thats it.
It's totally up to you how you pace yourself. For example, you could go hard for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds - just do as many of one exercise as you can in 1 minute.

Optional: record your results.
Record your results so you can see how you are progressing in different exercises. It's a great way to challenge yourself. If you want to see other people's results or post your own results onilne, simply check out our forum.
